Why do people try to one up each other on the “cry me a river” scale?

I have to drive in so much rush hour traffic.
My commute is two hours in rush hour.
Well, I have school and work 7 days a week.
I have school, an internship, and 2 part time jobs.

etc. etc. blah blah. Idgaf. 

  • Co-Worker: They think they all bougie.
  • Me: Fun fact! Bougie supposedly originates from the DMV area.
  • Co-Worker: What? Like DMV or D.C. there's a difference.
  • Me: I said DMV.
  • Co-Worker: What do you mean it originated from DMV though? Like the word?
  • Me: Well, "bougie" is originally from the word "bourgeoisie"...
  • Co-Worker: What's a bourgeoisie? I don't even know what that is. *laughs*
  • Then acts like I'm the one who doesn't know what they're talking about.
  • bourgeoisie.. really? Karl Marx? Communist Manifesto? Am I being a smartass?
  • Whatever.

Reality TV Show Disasters..

I only watch TWO reality shows, The Biggest Loser and The Voice, and I have to say for both of them this season SUCKS SO HARD.

The Biggest Loser…the contestants are HORRIBLE and they’re not even losing weight as much as past seasons. There are a few contestants that I liked, but they got voted off. Everyone just whines and whines and it’s incredibly annoying. CONDA just completely pisses me off, she’s not losing that much weight, and she’s a HUGE bitch! So manipulative. This show has stopped being about losing weight and a life-changing experience, and more drama, which I tried to avoid (all other reality shows).

The Voice (spoiler alert)…The coaches are all into finding a unique, strange, weird voice that they’re all ignoring the good AMAZING voices that are out there. I was already disappointed with the blind auditions, and the battle rounds aren’t that great either. I mean don’t get me wrong there are some contestants who I LOVE, and I applaud their voices. But seriously? People like Erin Martin?? Her voice is some shit, and I’m SO angry she won that battle round, like so mad that I’m blogging about it haha. Goodness, I’m mad she won that round. She’s pretty, we get it. Now get out of here, your voice stinks. But like I said before, just in general, some pretty shitty voices that are “unique” and not good at all. The coaches are NOT doing a good job this season. I can barely finish watching I get so aggravated.
